Dare to be the person nobody ever thought you could be.

After nearly 28 years of fighting, Sean Tyler finally got the opportunity to wave goodbye to the Criminal Court System after being exonerated from his wrongful conviction.

Beginning at the age of 14, Sean Tyler was stalked and threatened by detectives trained by infamous former CPD commander Jon Burge. Three years later, those same detectives eventually arrested and tortured him and his brother, Reginald.

On September 17, 2021, more than 27 years after they were arrested, Sean Tyler and his brother, Reginald Henderson, were exonerated.

Since release, Sean has spoken at over dozens of Chicago Public Schools, private schools, universities, organizations and churches from all around the world. He has sat on panels, and conducted numerous interviews all while fighting for his rightfully owed Certificate of Innocence.

Today, Sean Tyler is a celebrated public speaker, mentor, CEO, and author of 6 books.

As a man with style, Sean started NuVisean as his next step to success after being wrongfully incarcerated. The idea was that if Sean can be successful selling clothes and make a name for myself, then anything is possible.

With this NuVisean, the main goal is to share it and see just how many people have that same viSean. To see how many people NuVisean can inspire and motivate through the resilience that Sean continues to exemplify.

Now that the foundation is set, Sean strives to build a platform that empowers people to push through the unforeseen experiences they’ve been through and succeed. He aims to reach more people by continuing to share his story, name, and apparel.

The NuVisean: “Uplift, Motivate, and Inspire”

Sean acts on the NuVisean mission through:

  • Motivational Speaking
  • Authoring 6 books
  • Advocating for justice
  • Engaging with students, the news, and speaking panels
  • Being active in the community, and much more…
